AUT Millennium

Progress update! Installation of the Hikotron chargers is well under way at the AUT Millennium car park. This will include three chargers which can charge up to six EVs at once. 

The chargers are waiting for the final connection to a new upgraded pillar from Vector. We hope to have this site live in a few weeks. Keep an eye on the Hikotron App or our social media for the opening date!

Royal Auckland and Grange Golf Club

We are thrilled to share Hikotron’s latest charging site at the Royal Auckland and Grange Golf Club. 

These chargers are available for members and their guests giving them the opportunity to charge their EV while they are playing a round of golf or enjoying the new clubhouse. 

Charging at the Matangi Factory

Now open! Our EV charger at Matangi Factory is now live and ready for public use. This is a heritage site of an old dairy factory, which now hosts lots of amazing businesses, including:

• Bootleg Brewery – try their award-winning craft beer together with some delicious eats from the on-site food truck
• The Sunday Society –  check out their beautiful and unusual homeware treasures from Europe which have been carefully restored on-site at the Matangi Factory.

Te Awamutu Events Centre

We are pleased to announce the new Hikotron EV chargers at Te Awamutu are now live and available for public use.

They are located in the Te Awamutu Events Centre carpark and provide a ‘park and charge’ service for those wanting to charge their car while attending meetings or exploring Te Awamutu CBD.

Cambridge Site Live

In collaboration with Waipa District Council, our latest site at the Duke Street Car Park in Cambridge is now live and ready for action.

The site includes four dedicated EV charging spots that can be used simultaneously and is in close proximity to the Cambridge town center.

Council and Hikotron powering EVs in the district

Installation Underway at Cambridge Site

Installation has started at our new site in the centre of Cambridge and is expected to be live in the beginning of April. This site has been a collaboration with Waipa District Council to trial EV charging in the across the district.

Located in the Duke St carpark, four cars will be able to charge simultaneously while parked and provides a convenient location for visitors to the region to charge while visiting local businesses and attractions.
